Germany premiere: We are particularly pleased to welcome Michael Shikashio to his first workshop in Germany in April 2024. We met Mike in person at the Clicker Expo in Washington D.C. this year and its exciting and rousing lectures really got us. So we invited him directly to Germany so that many other trainers and people in animal professions would have the chance to learn from him. Michael covers a niche that needs to be covered here, namely not only the background to aggression, but also how to deal with aggressive dogs that have it all. The workshop weekend starts with an evening lecture as a “kick off” and preparation for the next 2 days. Here is an excerpt from the agenda:

  • History taking and what really matters
  • Prognosis and Realistic Goal Setting in Aggression Cases
  • Precursors to Aggression – Dog Body Language
  • Arousal and Aggression
  • Resource guarding in dogs
  • Intra-Household Dog to Dog Aggression
  • How to Safely Break up a Dog Fight
